Dinner Theaters

Dinner, Anyone?

Combining excellent cuisine, top-notch acting and innovative production, Wisconsin’s dinner theaters make for an unforgettable evening -- especially when it's just too cold to be outside.

Riverside Theater

One of the Midwest’s best-known dinner theaters, The Fireside Theatre (www.firesidetheatre.com), in Fort Atkinson, is a favorite destination for couples, families and tour groups alike. A popular stop for tour groups, the Fireside has unique gift shops, award-winning cuisine and professional theater featuring talent straight from Broadway and the regional stage.

Green Bay visitors can take in a show and dinner at Frank’s Dinner Theatre (www.franksdinnertheatre.com) at the SC Grand. Wisconsin’s first all-original dinner theater, Frank’s offers its side-splitting brand of fun to groups of all sizes. During the month of January, the facility is featuring a “Best Of 2006” review. March brings the musical comedy review “Frank’s Country Jamboree.”

In Eau Claire, the Fanny Hill Event Center, Victorian Inn & Dinner Theatre (www.fannyhill.com) hosts shows year-round, plus special events and bed & breakfast accommodations as well. The comedy “Tuna Christmas” plays through January 21, followed by “Don’t Hug Me,” Jan. 26 - April 1.

Visitors to Milwaukee looking for a one-stop dinner and theater venue will not want to miss the Broadway Baby Dinner Theater (www.foodspot.com/broadwaybaby) in Glendale. The Milwaukee area’s longest-running dinner theater, Broadway Baby features a variety of musical comedies and farces. Check the Broadway Baby website for the current production.
