Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center

Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center is a welcoming focal point for residents and visitors alike. Madison’s living piece of art truly works as a community gathering place and tourism destination presenting a wide variety of free and low cost community programs year round. Guided tours of the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed building meet in the Gift Shop. The cost is $3 for adults and $2 for students. Visitors are invited to enjoy gorgeous views of Lake Monona and the Madison skyline at the Lake Vista Café located on the rooftop, serving alcoholic beverages and a light gourmet menu-seasonally.

Hours of Operation

Tours take one hour and are offered daily at 1pm. Open to the public daily 8am-5pm.

From Madison's beltline (Hwy 12 & 18), take the John Nolen Dr exit into downtown. Parking entrance will be on right.From north: I-90/94 take Hwy 151 exit/E Washington Ave; follow 151 to turn L on Blair St for 2 blocks; Rt on Wilson few blocks; Left into
