Six Food and Wine Festivals Perfect for Fall in Wisconsin

Food & Wine Festivals are the perfect way to get a little “taste” of everything. Area restaurants, wine purveyors, chefs and local producers team up to provide the ultimate foodie experience. Here are list of some of them:

Wet Whistle Wine Fest – Algoma

A celebration of the senses with award-winning wines, grape stomps, live music and heritage foods at the von Stiehl Winery located just steps from the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan.

Fall Festival – Chippewa Falls

Coming from a name like Autumn Harvest Winery, you know this event has to be good. Delicious pies from Firewoods Traveling Pizzeria, chainsaw carving demonstrations, a free corn maze and wagon rides, and a stop by Visit Eau Claire Fun Patrol are a few of the highlights. Taste wines, listen to live music and pick some apples.

Wine & Harvest Festival – Cedarburg

Enjoy the bounty of fall at Cedarburg's Annual Wine & Harvest Festival. Farmer's market, Arts on the Avenue, grape stomp, grape spitting contest, hayrides and live music are uncorked at this event in Cedar Creek Park.

Food & Wine FestivalSt. Croix Falls

Dancing Dragonfly Winery's bash includes a grape stomp, arts and crafts booths, and live music throughout the weekend. Sample the wares of the food vendors and try the winery's products in the tasting gazebo.

Fall Harvest Fest – Fish Creek

This Orchard Country Winery celebration of autumn in Door County will include complimentary wine and farm market foods tastings, along with outrageous apple cider donut- and apple pie-eating contests. Pick your own apples, take a free tour or kick back on a horse-drawn wagon ride. Kids of all ages will love pumpkin bowling.

Kohler Food & Wine Experience – Kohler

Taste exciting fare from award-winning local and international chefs, soak up culinary knowledge from the food and wine specialists, get your cookbooks signed by their celebrity authors, and so much more. Participating chefs over the years have included Hubert Keller, Sara Moulton, Mario Batali and of course, some chefs from the hosting American Club Resort.
