Get the low down on TravelWisconsin.com and then use the Travel Wisconsin mobile app to get started. If Wisconsin Dells is your family-fun destination, there are 13 Brag Badges you can collect during your stay. Earn five with this family-friendly itinerary.
You have 15 different opportunities to earn the Bonding Brag Badge, but there may be no place that’ll get the whole family more excited to spend time together than with a trip to Noah’s Ark Waterpark – also known as “America’s Largest Waterpark." Try the Scorpion's Tail waterslide, a nearly vertical waterslide 10 stories high, 400-feet long that plummets riders at 50 feet per second. Wave pools, lazy rivers and kiddie play areas make this an attraction the whole family can enjoy. Grab your swimsuits and towels and prepare for a jam-packed day of wet and wild fun.
For nearly 70 years, the Original Wisconsin Ducks have been taking travelers on a splashtastic ride from land to water and back again with their amazing boats on wheels. It’s one of the greatest ways we can think of to experience the area’s natural beauty and learn about its history. These restored World War II amphibious vehicles take you for a one hour tour that starts on land then plunges into the water for a tour of the Wisconsin River. Climb aboard on this one-of-a-kind tour and earn your Local Knowledge Badge.
This ski, sky and stage show has had spectators on the edge of their seats since 1952 and each year adds tricks and stunts more unbelievable than the last. Enjoy the water ski show featuring human pyramids, skiers performing tricks off of a jump, wakeboarding, barefoot skiing and the new high-flying FlyBoard. Their stage show features a variety of entertainment from jugglers to comedians to stuntmen, and spectators turn their eyes to the sky when a daredevil soars to 700 feet above water attached to a man-carrying kite before gliding back to stage. This show is your ticket to collecting your Water Bug Badge.
With more waterparks per capita than any place on the planet, there’s a reason why Wisconsin Dells has earned the name “Waterpark Capital of the World®.” Stay and play at the African-themed Kalahari Waterpark, the largest indoor waterpark in the state. Rent a private outdoor bungalow and enjoy a flat screen TV, lounges and refrigerator. The indoor theme park will keep families busy with go karts, lazer tag, ropes course and bowling alley. Dine at one of the many on-site restaurants including the Double Cut steakhouse. This is a place to play until you run out of energy and then catch a good night’s sleep to earn your Sweet Dreams Badge.
Earn your Beauty Spot Badge with a hike at Devil’s Lake State Park. Head for a natural rock formation like “Devil’s Doorway” or “Balanced Rock” to get the best photo opp. The park offers 29 miles of trails for all skill levels. The East Bluff Trail is the easiest, most gradual way to reach the clifftops at Devils Lake. Or if you want a real workout, the Potholes trail will have you breathing heavy as you climb steep stone steps between the narrow passageways of quartzite rock.
