The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help
Last Updated: 2/26/2013
In a small rural town 15 miles northeast of the hustle and bustle of Green Bay you’ll find yourself in a peaceful surrounding of dairy farms and fields of corn, oats and soybeans. Then, on a small road in New Franken, you’ll come across a heavenly site... The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help.
The Shrine is more than 150 years old and typically draws more than 3,000 people a year to its small chapel. But ever since Bishop David Ricken of the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay approved three apparitions of the Virgin Mary at the site, the spot has become the center of it all for believers from around the world. It is the first and only church-approved apparition in the United States.
Travel to The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help, in New Franken and see for yourself what the fuss is all about. This entry was posted in History & Heritage
