Flambeau Trail System
70 miles of signed trails on moderately rolling terrain in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest east of ParkFalls/Fifield open May 1 through March 14 to ATVs, UTVs (up to 50 inches / increasing to 65 inches spring 2016), off-road motorcycles, horseback riding, hiking, biking and snowmobiling. Camping with ATV and UTV trail access is available at the Sailor Lake Campground east of Fifield on Hwy. 70 then south on Sailor Lake Road with access to the Solberg Trail which goes to Phillips. The Flambeau Trail System also connects via road routes to the Tuscobia State Trail (April 15 - Nov. 15) which also connects to the Flambeau River State Forest trail (May 15 - Nov. 15), both allow ATVing and UTVing.
Trail access at the Blockhouse Lake parking area, the Wintergreen Parking area on Hwy 70, Sailor Lake Campground, Round Lake on Forest Road 535, and on Hwy 182 nine miles east of Park Falls.
