Father Wind Bed & Breakfast
Father Wind was originally a two story, side-by-side duplex. The south side is occupied by your hosts, Mark and Luanne Bemis. The north side is designed for a couple or family/group of no more than six occupants. The living room is painted in amaretto and has a sofa sleeper that contains a queen size air mattress for extended family or friends. It also has a wooden rocker, TV-DVD-VCR, and lamps designed by a local potter. Straight ahead is the half bathroom, and to the right is a kitchen painted in wild river and moonlit sand. The kitchen has a bar and four high backed stools where you will enjoy a continental breakfast. Complimentary snacks, soft drinks, and bottled water will be provided in the afternoon. A back door from the kitchen leads to off-street parking and a backyard. There is a three season porch located in the backyard where you can read or enjoy the sight and sounds of birds and squirrels. From the living room there is a staircase that leads to a full bathroom and bedrooms. The bathroom has a two person Kohler heated whirlpool and shower. The master bedroom is lavender and ivory and has a fireplace, desk or vanity area with wireless internet, TV, and balcony that overlooks the backyard. The second bedroom is painted in toasted barley and has a full size bed for extended family or friends. Father Wind is designed for comfort, relaxation and privacy.
