Step Two: Add Items
Add items from our Places to Stay, Things to Do, Dining and Events sections to your trip by clicking the Add to Trip icon throughout the site or from within the Trip Planner.
Step Three: Print and Share
Print details of your trip and share your trip with friends on your favorite social network or via email.
Loon Lake State Wildlife Area
This 2,752-acre site is a good place for the novice birder. A variety of habitat including forest, wetlands and Loon Lake make this area attractive to Ruffed Grouse, American Woodcock, Sandhill Cranes and Bald Eagles.
Located 5.5 miles north of Turtle Lake via US Hwy 63, turn left (west) on 2-3/4 & 3-3/4 Streets. Follow this road to small parking areas throughout the property.
