Step One: Create a Trip
Once you login you can create a new trip or edit existing trips. Set your trip name, description, privacy and dates before you begin.
Step Two: Add Items
Add items from our Places to Stay, Things to Do, Dining and Events sections to your trip by clicking the Add to Trip icon throughout the site or from within the Trip Planner.
Step Three: Print and Share
Print details of your trip and share your trip with friends on your favorite social network or via email.
Riley Lake Wildlife Area
Located in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, this area is prime dancing ground for Sharp-tail grouse and is also home to upland game birds, songbirds, deer, bear and other wildlife. Contact the forest services property manager Dan Eklund (715) 762-5194 or Wildlife Technician Mike Bablick (715) 762-5117 to reserve a blind to view sharptail grouse. There is a boat ramp for 184-acre Riley Lake which has good fish populations of largemouth bass, panfish and northern pike.
From Hwy. 13 in Fifield, travel east on Hwy. 70 11.5 miles, go south on Forest Road 505/Hemlock Road 6 miles, then west on Forest Road 536 a 1/2 mile to Riley Lake.
