Flycatchers, many species of warblers, Winter Wrens and thrushes are found here in good numbers. This property is divided into two units and both areas are good places to go to for wildlife viewing. There are lakes, trout streams, pine forest and mixed hardwood and pine forests. Waters of the stream offer a diversified fish population. Although a total of 19 different species of fish inhabit the springs and streams within the fishery area, only the brook and brown trout are sought by anglers. Sawyer Creek is a Class I/II trout stream.
