Every now and then it’s nice to hit the snooze button an extra time. Or three. And what’s better than sleeping in late? Still getting to eat a tasty breakfast! That’s right, we’re talking about brunch.
We set out on a mission to find the best places Wisconsin for a late morning meal and asked our Facebook community to share which ones make their mouths water. Check out some of the top picks:
Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. in Madison – Sara M.
Visit the Fitchburg or Hilldale locations on Sundays for a brunch buffet full of all your savory favorites – more than 50 items! The Downtown and Eastside locations offer omelets, Prime Rib and more. Make an afternoon of it and stick around for a beer or two.
White Gull Inn in Fish Creek – Adele L.
This 1896 inn is complete with antique décor, fireplaces and whirlpools, making it a lovely place to vacation. Just looking for a great meal? White Gull is open to the public for three meals a day, including their famous hearty breakfasts and Friday night fish boils.

If you’re craving a larger-than-life meal fit for a lumberjack, look no further. Stop by May through mid-October and delight in Paul Bunyan’s menu which features favorite north woods breakfast foods like flapjacks, camp fried potatoes and buttermilk donuts. Peek around the gift shop on your way out!
Creamery Café in Paoli – Sarah R.
If intimate and artful are your cup of tea, then a fresh “casual gourmet” meal at Creamery Café may be your ideal brunch. Dine on local farm fresh food while you take in views of the Sugar River and historic Paoli Mill.
