25th Annual Hot Air Affair – Hudson (Feb. 7-9, 2014)

When you’re hot, you’re hot – especially when you’re the premier winter ballooning festival of the Midwest. The Hudson Hot Air Affair rises to the occasion bringing winter fun to thousands. Whether it’s the hot air balloon launches, the Up Up & Away 5K or smooshboarding – a sport where four people are strapped to the same “snowboard” as well as each other and work together to get through a snow-covered obstacle course – there are plenty of fun ways to celebrate this event’s 25th anniversary. 

Cabin Fever Weekend – New Glarus (Feb. 8, 2014)

How can cabin fever be fun? Well, get out of the house and head to New Glarus to find out. Cure your winter blues with a day of frolicking, fondue, brewery tours and much more. Enjoy live music at Tofflers Pub and Grill or show off your polka skills at the New Glarus Hotel Restaurant. And if you’re interested in a little nighttime exercise, the trails of the New Glarus State Park will be torch-lit for snowshoeing or hiking.

Beloit International Film Festival – Beloit (Feb. 14-23, 2014)

11th Annual Death by Chocolate – Appleton (Feb. 14, 2014)

Truly the ultimate Valentine’s Day gift. Winter Festival – Cedarburg (Feb. 15-16, 2014)

Battle on 'Bago Ice Fishing Tournament – Oshkosh (Feb. 21-22, 2014)
