Must-See Holiday Light Shows in Wisconsin

Holiday light displays are in full force this time of year. So, we’ve gathered a few of the larger displays in Wisconsin sure to set your eyes aglow and revert any adult to a childlike state.
The Country Christmas Light Show in Waukesha is Wisconsin’s largest outdoor lights display! It features 250 light displays lit with more than 1 million lights in a 1- mile, drive along wooded trail. Runs December 1st – 31st, 2011.
The Rotary Holiday Lights in La Crosse illuminate the park with animated displays, a computerized tunnel, and a holiday village with reindeer, hayrides and carriage rides. Runs through January 31st, 2012.
The Garden of Lights at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens is a holiday favorite with displays of flowers, butterflies and other botanical themed images. Walk the trail, or hop on a carriage ride perfect for younger viewers. Seasonal snacks are available in the Education Center. Hours vary so be sure to visit their website.
Last but not least, the Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival sets three of Milwaukee’s parks ablaze with color: Cathedral Square Park, Pere Marquette Park and Zeidler Union Square. For just a $1, hop on the Jingle Bus for a warm, narrated tour of the festive scenes. Runs though January 1st, 2012.
