Last Updated: 12/30/2013
Chocolate City U.S.A. is right in our backyard! Yes, Burlington is known for its chocolate, and if you’re making a list of things to do this summer, add the 25th Anniversary of ChocolateFest (May 27-30, 2011) to that list. You might even want to move it to the top, you won’t be disappointed at this indulgent festival.
Among the many options for entertainment at this year’s festival: A chocolate eating contest, chocolate create-a-thon, choc-o-trivia and choc-o-lympics. Be sure to bring the kids to this family-friendly event, they can participate in the chocolate chunk dig, ChocolateFest coloring contest and also visit the petting zoo.
Fireworks on Friday, a parade on Monday and four stages of live entertainment complete this tease. Salivating over the endless possibilities? You’ll need tickets for this event so order soon and mark your calendars.
End your trip to Burlington with a stop at the Chocolate Museum. See, you can indulge in the festival and learn about chocolate too. A win-win.
