It’s a big weekend in Wisconsin when it comes to outdoor winter fun! Family-friendly and action packed, if you’re looking for something to do here are a few events to try on for size.
For good old fashion family fun, head to Jack Frost Fest in Spooner this Saturday. Enjoy turkey bowling, a pond hockey tournament, ice fishing contest, antique snowmobile show, raffle, *gasp for more breath* open ice skating, dog sled rides and plenty of food. For the nature lover, check out Bald Eagle Watching Days in Prairie du Sac this Saturday. Take in the awe-inspiring view as dozens of eagles fish the open waters of the Wisconsin River. For the speedster, the World Championship Snowmobile Derby in Eagle River is chalk full of excitement! As the world’s premier snowmobile racing event, 1,400-plus entries compete in front of 30,000 spectators.
