Last Updated: 12/31/2013
Summer in Wisconsin is jam-packed with events, eats, fair, festivals and must-see stops, but with so much to do and see, it can be overwhelming…until now!
North, south, east, or west, our Summer Fun Report is your go-to guide for fun across the state. The 5-Day Fun Forecast showcases hot events for the week, while our 101-Day Forecast is perfect for your summer- long vacation planning.
One of this week’s featured events is the Pottery Festival & US Pottery Games in Cambridge. This two-day, all-clay festival celebrates the fine art of handmade pottery and features wares of 40 professional potters from 10 states. See potters go head to head in different competitions throughout the day. Stop by the hands-on learning center and learn how to become a potter yourself. Food and entertainment included!
You can also enjoy the Northwoods Bluegrass Festival in Ladysmith. Listen to bluegrass bands from across the Midwest, participate in children’s activities, door prizes and of course, sample food from local vendors. This is a family friendly event, so no alcohol!
