Wisconsin Summer Fun Report: 8/11/11 – 8/17/11

We’re turning back the clock for this week’s Summer Fun Report. Get ready for a trip down memory lane as we explore some favorite Wisconsin pastimes like lumberjack shows and county fairs.

Head north to historic downtown Mosinee for the 6th Annual Little Bull Falls LogJam Festival held from Aug. 12-14 at River Park. Learn about the rich local logging history along the scenic Wisconsin River. Enjoy lumberjack shows, Civil War re-enactments, and an array of artisans and vendors. End the night with a bang; enjoy fireworks over the river.

The Grant County Fair in Lancaster runs from Aug. 14-21. Family fun is around every corner. Enjoy 4-H animal judging, tractor and truck pulls, and delicious food. Thrill seekers can watch the demolition derby or take a tour of the midway rides.

There’s more where that came from! Keep an eye out for everything happening in Wisconsin by following us on Twitter or liking us on Facebook.
