Last Updated: 12/31/2013
Top ‘o the mornin’ to ya! From Irish step dancing to some of the fastest racing in the world, this week’s Summer Fun Report is jam-packed with Wisconsin fun for everyone. Here are some must-sees for this weekend.
Celebrate Gaelic heritage at Irish Fest, the nation’s largest Irish festival. Held in Milwaukee’s Henry W. Maier Festival Park from Aug. 18-21, Irish Fest showcases food, music and sports of the Emerald Isle. Participate in Irish sports like hurling and tug-of-war, or enter a baking or poetry contest! With over 300 entertainers on 17 stages, the fun keeps going.
Start your engines and get ready for the American Le Mans Series, taking place Aug. 18-20. Held at the “holy grail” of North American road courses, Road America in Elkhart Lake features non-stop racing over the three-day weekend by the world’s fastest racing series. If three days isn’t enough for you, stick around for the four-hour enduro – an off-road motorcycle race!
There’s always something going on in Wisconsin so be sure to check the Summer Fun Report every week! This entry was posted in Things to Do
