Wisconsin Winter Festivals
Last Updated: 12/2/2013
It’s winter festival time in Wisconsin this weekend so bundle up, get outdoors, and enjoy the season!
The Waukesha JanBoree is a family winter celebration that takes place throughout the city of Waukesha. With or without snow, this festival is not to miss! Enjoy indoor ice skating, geocaching, a pancake breakfast, polka, a planetarium show, the Frosty 5k run/walk, and dog pulls!
The Flake Out Festival in Wisconsin Dells is one of the largest winter festivals in the Midwest and Wisconsin's only state-sanctioned snow sculpting competition. Professionals and amateurs alike gather to create intricate, comedic or quirky sculptures with the winner moving on to the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition! The festival features an arts and craft fair, fireworks, live music, children’s activities and much much more.
Already booked for the weekend? No worries! Winterfest fun is upon us. Both Beloit and Phillips, Wisconsin are holding their own Winterfest celebrations later this month, complete with indoor and outdoor activities, food, drink, music and more!
