Once you login you can create a new trip or edit existing trips. Set your trip name, description, privacy and dates before you begin.
Step Two: Add Items
Add items from our Places to Stay, Things to Do, Dining and Events sections to your trip by clicking the Add to Trip icon throughout the site or from within the Trip Planner.
Step Three: Print and Share
Print details of your trip and share your trip with friends on your favorite social network or via email.
Smith Rapids Campground
Open year-round. Located on the South Fork of the Flambeau River (smallmouth bass, rock bass, catfish, black suckers, red horse, walleye, northern pike, musky); 11 rustic campsites with fire grills and picnic tables; fee required; all campsites can be reserved; tents, trailers, and RVs up to 45+; 7 campsites are equestrian-friendly with hitching rails and extra-long parking spurs to accommodate horse trailers; drinking water – hand pump, vault toilets, open-air picnic shelter (can be reserved) with picnic tables and grill; carry-in boat access, river & stream fishing, access to the Smith Rapids Covered Bridge and Smith Rapids River Saddle Trail (hike/equestrian). For campsite or pavilion reservation information, call 1-877-444-6777 or go to www.recreation.gov. (Winter camping – vault toilets, no water, no plowed roads or services.)
Travel east from Fifield, on State Highway 70 for 12.5 miles and turn left (north) on Forest Road 148 for 2 miles.
