In the heart of Wisconsin, Wood County has a little something for everyone. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting and many winter activities in the many beautiful streams, lakes, marshlands and wooded areas blanketing the county. As the third largest inland cranberry-producing region in the world, a tour of the cranberry marshes is a must, especially in the fall when they are being harvested with gorgeous fall colors as your backdrop.  Explore gardens, wildlife refuges and plenty of parks in the area, as well.
