Minocqua Winter Park & Nordic Center
Midwest's premiere Nordic center has 45 miles of groomed trails, 10 miles of ungroomed backcountry ski trails, 10 miles of snowshoe trails, and a telemark hill. Trails are for beginner to advanced skiers. Award-winning National Ski Patrol group is on duty every weekend. On-site Ski Shop & Ski School offers the latest in retail equipment, rental skis and snowshoes, and a PSIA-certified ski school with lessons for all ages and abilities. Lift-assisted snow tubing run and ice pond with free ice skate rental. Day lodge with full-service grill serving Minocqua Brewing Company beer, waxing room, and free wifi. Minocqua Winter Park holds skijoring clinics hosted by the Wisconsin Trailblazers Sled Dog Club. Their clinics are a great place for you and your dog to learn to skijor. CXC Adaptive Center offers stand up and sit ski equipment to provide XC skiing to people with physical disabilities or visual impairments. Call for appoitments for instructions and free equipment use.

Opens for regular business by mid-December and closes on March 31. Chalet & Trails Open Daily 9am-5pm. Snow Tubing: Daily Dec 21-Jan 5: Noon-5pm, Sat & Sun thru March: Noon-5pm.
From US Hwy 51 in Minocqua, go 6.8 miles west on Hwy 70 to Squirrel Lake Road; continue 4.5 miles south on Squirrel Lake Road to Scotchman Lake Road; follow the signs to Minocqua Winter Park.
