Step One: Create a Trip
Once you login you can create a new trip or edit existing trips. Set your trip name, description, privacy and dates before you begin.
Step Two: Add Items
Add items from our Places to Stay, Things to Do, Dining and Events sections to your trip by clicking the Add to Trip icon throughout the site or from within the Trip Planner.
Step Three: Print and Share
Print details of your trip and share your trip with friends on your favorite social network or via email.
Mt. Ashwabay Ski and Recreation Area
Mt. Ashwabay features 317 ft. of vertical drop and 12 runs, as well as 40+k of some of the best groomed XC trails in the Northwoods, with ratings from beginner to expert (All trails are groomed and tracked as needed). With a tubing park, terrain park, community and high school race programs, lessons, and a variety of special events, Mt. Ashwabay really does offer something for everyone. The lifts run every day Dec 22-Jan 2 except for Dec 25. After that, the lifts run Wednesdays from 10am-9pm, Saturdays from 9:30a-4:30p, and Sundays from 10a-4:30p. Our XC trails are open anytime. You must either purchase a season pass, pay for a daily ticket in the chalet, or put the daily trail fee in the tube of the trail head if the chalet is closed. Our tubing hill is open 12-4 on Saturdays and Sundays. Food, lounge, instruction and equipment rental are available at the chalet. Hours of Operation
The lifts run Wednesdays from 10am-9pm, Saturdays from 9:30am-4:30pm, and Sundays from 10am-4:30pm. Our tubing hill is open 12-4 on Saturdays and Sundays. Our XC ski trails are open anytime. NASTAR racing Sundays at 1pm.
