Step One: Create a Trip
Once you login you can create a new trip or edit existing trips. Set your trip name, description, privacy and dates before you begin.
Step Two: Add Items
Add items from our Places to Stay, Things to Do, Dining and Events sections to your trip by clicking the Add to Trip icon throughout the site or from within the Trip Planner.
Step Three: Print and Share
Print details of your trip and share your trip with friends on your favorite social network or via email.
Whitetail Ridge Ski Area
Skiers of all ages enjoy the downhill slopes with a vertical drop of over 185 feet. Whitetail Ridge has four ski slopes, the longest run being 1,300 feet. A self loading T-Bar lift serves three slopes. Cross-Country skiing - five miles of trails wind through 300 acres of forest on Fort McCoy. All trails begin and end at the Chalet. Cross-country ski equipment may be rented at the Chalet. The Chalet serves a delicious variety of sandwiches, side dishes and beverages at reasonable prices. Tubing - sliding down the 800' long slope on a large inner tube is part of the thrills at Whitetail. Tubing area has its own tow rope so the ride up is just as fun. Hours of Operation
During open season: Fri 4:30-9pm, Sat 10am-9pm, Sun noon-6pm. Call to confirm open dates prior to arrival.
