The John Michael Kohler Arts Center has been honored with a prestigious “American Masterpieces” grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board and the National Endowment for the Arts. JMKAC presents Ernest Hüpeden's "Painted Forest." Ernest Hüpeden was hired by the Modern Woodmen of America to festoon their newly built fraternal lodge. Hüpeden painted the lodge’s entire interior with vivid murals chronicling the rites and rituals of the MWA brotherhood. . Enjoy a special presentation, reception, and family art activity
