Kari Hogden’s vibrant oil paintings of rural Wisconsin depict the contrast of the irregular shapes of the natural world and the geometrical shapes that are man-made. Some of the buildings seem to be fused with the earth and sky while others are in stark contrast to their environment. All are ephemeral compared to the earth they rest on. A meet the artist wine and cheese reception will be held on June 2, 2012 from 5-7pm.
