May 31 - July 12, 2008

Cable

The museum will partner with the Cable/Namakagon Historical Museum, the Town of Cable, Lac Courte Orielles Community College, and the National Park Service's St. Croix Scenic Riverway to develop a series of Community Conversations for Between Fences that connects people, history, and nature. The programs will provide special insights into the Ojibwa culture, represent how "neighbors and nations" have interacted in this region throughout American history, and share some of the land use conflicts in today's society.
