Bayfield

Our favorite Swing Band returns to the Big Top to perform a Tribute to Cab Calloway in support of their forthcoming new album plus other BBVD classic tunes. BBVD helped define the lounge scene as it was featured in the hit film Swingers; they now carry on the tradition of the legendary big bands and orchestras by touring non-stop, performing over 100 concerts each year around the world. Like the Glen Miller Orchestra, Benny Goodman, and the Count Basie Big Band, BBVD sell out shows to audiences of all ages in cities as far flung as Honolulu, HI, St. Petersburg, FL, even making an appearance at last summer’s Pori Festival in Finland. The band includes leader and singer Scotty Morris, drummer Kurt Sodergren, Dirk Shumaker on string bass, Andy Rowley on saxophone, Glen Marhevka on trumpet, Karl Hunter on saxophones and clarinet, and Joshua Levy on piano.
