Big Top Chautauqua presents a Singer/Songwriter Showcase

Featuring Bill Staines, Michael Smith, Buddy Mondlock, Karen Mal and Bill Isles. Five of the best contemporary and classic singer/songwriters come together in a round-robin celebration of song. These folks are known all over the country for their songwriting talent, great lyrics, great melodies, and good musicianship. Bill Staines’ songs have been recorded by artists such as Glen Yarborough, Nanci Griffith and Mason Williams. Michael Smith is famous for the “The Dutchman” and his work with folk greats Steve Goodman, John Prine and Pete Seeger. Buddy Mondlock’s songs have been recorded by Joan Baez, Peter, Paul & Mary and Bonnie Raitt. Karen Mal and Bill Isles are two regional singer/songwriters (Karen formerly of Door County, WI and Bill from Duluth, MN) who have inspired a following with their incredible talent.
