The community of Beaches Corner celebrates opening day of the Wisconsin deer hunting season with a traditional pre-dawn hunter's breakfast at the Beach Corner Tap (4:00 am!!!) and special early holiday shopping opportunities for the "hunters' widows" at a community-wide arts and crafts fair located at both the old service station and at Beaches Corner School, home of Beaches Corner Arts Studios. At the School, local artists will be on hand to demonstrate and answer questions about their work. Healthy snacks and beverages will be served, and Ron will favor guests with selections on the accordion by request. Media represented in the school gallery include: fiber arts, photography, wood turning and carving, rosemalling, painting, drawing and printmaking, sculpture, rug weaving, braiding and hooking, basketry, pottery, jewelry and Amish crafts.
