Janesville
Festivities will be soaring to new heights as we focus on aspects of conservation that affect local birds, especially birds of prey. Both days will feature live raptor shows presented by Northern Illinois Raptor Rehab & Education and their collection of interpretive materials that tell the story about current factors impacting owls, hawks, falcons and eagles today.
Also featured will be: Environmentally-friendly vehicles and home energy conservation measures; Alternative energy sources and local organizations that support eco-friendly practices; Art and music Make & Take projects out of recycled products; Reduce, Reuse, & Recycle scavenger hunt; Discovery Backpacks.
