Fiesta Costume Design & Parade

Local artist Gloria Seward will present a three-day workshop for people interested in expanding their artistic expression. Twenty participants from age 7 through adult will make and design ponchos, sombreros, paper lanterns &chains, maracas, Fiesta bead necklaces, tamborines, bongo drums, etc., and then have an opportunity to wear their costumes and participate in a parade during the park celebration on August 9. Participants are also being invited to participate in a Fiesta at the park from 1pm-5pm on August 9 including Latin music, cactus ring toss game, Mexican hat dance, limbo, piñata, and more. There is no cost for this workshop; however, registration is required. Contact the Price County Tourism Department at 715-339-4505 or 800-269-4505 for additional information or to register.
