The biggest star of the Ziegfeld Follies, Fanny Brice, inspired this classic musical that launched the career of one of the greatest film and recording stars ever, Barbra Streisand. FUNNY GIRL is the story of Brice, who went from poor Lower East Side "funny girl" to Broadway star, and her rocky relationship with husband and society gambler, Nick Arnstein. Contains the classic songs: PEOPLE, DON'T RAIN ON MY PARADE and MY MAN. All the glamour of the Ziegfeld Follies and the warmth and humor of a great Broadway musical.
