Cassville
Step back to a time, before steam engines or tractors arrived on the farm, when horses did all work. Farmers used horses to plow the fields in the spring, harvest the crops in the fall, haul goods to town, and transport people. Horse-Drawn Days will help you relive this way of life through a variety of activities throughout the day. Popular and prolific Wisconsin Historical Society Press author Jerry Apps will discuss and sign copies of his book, "Horse-Drawn Days: A Century of Farming with Horses."
