Ice races on Lake Superior's Chequamegon Bay. Beginning in January, Car Ice Racing will take place every Sunday at 12pm until 3pm (ice conditions permitting), on Lake Superior and Chequamegon Bay Ice near Maslowski Beach in Ashland. This annual event in Ashland is fun to watch and even more fun to be in! Cars race around a groomed track right on the ice off the shoreline.
