Kickapoo Valley Reserve Fall Trail Ride

Soak up the beauty of the Kickapoo Valley and enjoy the spectacular fall colors on miles of equestrian trails. Join the KVR Horsepower Group for a weekend of riding and camping. Weekend program includes: guided rides on Saturday, pot-of-chili meal Saturday night, evening campfires, coffee and rolls on Sunday morning, trail pace, scavenger hunt and poker run with prizes, door & raffle prizes. self-guided tour of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve Visitor Center including interactive exhibits. Terrain is primarily challenging in hilly terrain with some water crossings; easy to moderate segments available. A special camp area will be prepared for trailers, horses, mules, and their riders, with a camp host, will open at noon on Friday. Potable water and toilet facilities will be available. Rental cabins and alternative lodging lists available upon request. A fee of $40 per horse and rider and $20 per horse and rider for ages 16 & under and non-riders (includes 2 nights camping and 3 days trail passes). Rain or shine event. Current negative Coggins test necessary for all horses/mules. Bring original and leave a copy. Attendance limited to 40 riders. Registration deadline September 15!
