Kids Park Week


Three Lakes

The Three Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Park District are pleased to announce the 2008 Kid’s Park Week – “Christmas in July” schedule of events. Kids Park Week will take place July 7 - 11, 2008. Instructors, who volunteer their time for children of the community, will teach sport, craft and cooking classes. This year’s activities include basketball, golf and tennis for the sports enthusiasts. Arts and crafts include “Salt Dough Ornaments,” a “Snow Pot People” and “Pinecone Bird Feeders.” We will also be featuring the popular “Passport to the World” where students will “travel” to Norway, Holland and Spain for the holidays. Have your Park Week passport stamped as you explore the holiday traditions of the world! Finally, make your own delicious cookies at the Three Lakes Cookie Factory. Please pre-registration at the Three Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, 1704 Superior St. on or before July 7. Classes are $15 and include a “Kid’s Park Week” sport pack. Additional classes are $7 each.
