Mother's Day Victorian Tea

Janesville

The Rock County Historical Society is hosting a tea and fashion show just in time for Mother's Day! Members of the Historical Timekeepers, a civil war reenactment club, are hosting the event in period attire. Tours of the Tallman House are included from 10- 11:30am. From 11:30am-12:30pm, tea, tea cakes, and tea sandwiches will be served along with a presentation on tea customs of the nineteenth century. The event will conclude with a fashion show by the Timekeepers, dressed in 1860s fashions, from 12:30-2pm. Participants may purchase tickets at the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center for $18 in advance or $20 per ticket at the door. One ticket admits one adult and two children under 12.
