Can you outrun the deer-flies and the mosquitoes? The 5th Annual Muggy Buggy Fun Run 5K Run/Walk, is a soft surface trail run/walk through the rolling landscape and boreal forest around Squirrel Hill at Minocqua Winter Park. The 5km traverses a spectacular course encompassing eskers, hills, and forest pathways. The entire course follows the renowned ski trails at Minocqua Winter Park. New this year will be an eXtreme version of Muggy Buggy to be held shortly after the 5k is completed. This race will include serious ups and downs, mud, creeks, ponds, more mud, a variety of obstacles, hot lava pits with fire breathing dragons (not really :), and other assorted odds and ends to shake things up a bit over a 2 to 2.5km course (but who’s counting? Time will be kept but it’s completely irrelevant….in this race...it’s all about finishing…...alive)! www.minocquawinterpark.org Address
