St Croix Falls
Based on the 1918 novel, “My Antonia” is produced by Illusion Theatre of Minneapolis. Festival is happy to present this touring production, which tells the story of the fictional Jim Burden. His story begins when he arrives in the town of Black Hawk, Nebraska, where he has gone to live with his grandparents after his parents have died. Following his life from youth to adult, the play depicts Jim’s strong feelings for Antonia, yet life shapes those feelings in ways a young Jim could not predict.
