A rare treat! Participants will be birding by mini-rail car through the Tiffany State Wildlife Area and the Chippewa River Bottoms. Riding the Chippewa Valley Railroad Association's Mini-Train with a guide through the Tiffany Bottoms during the spring migration is an unforgettable experience. During the 2009 birding event 76 species of birds were sited. Space is limited, contact the Wings Over Alma Nature Center to reserve your spot for the 2010 Spring Birding Event. Cost is $40 per person, which includes the train ride, a sack lunch and some of the best birding guides in the area.
