Karen Kappell’s paintings of movement in water capture the energy and flexibility of water as it changes in form in reaction to its flow. Through the use of brilliant colors and a variety of textural and smooth surface areas, Karen expresses a sense of vitality created in moving streams, falls, rivers, and oceans. A meet the artist wine and cheese reception will be held on March 17, 2012 from 5-7pm.
