The Mikado by Opera A La Carte

An exciting treat is in store for local audiences when the national touring company Opera A La Carte stages its highly acclaimed production of Gilbert and Sullivan's popular operetta "The Mikado". Tickets $30 in advance/$35 at the door.
Directed by Richard Sheldon, this production, complete with sets, costumes, full chorus and orchestra, frequently plays to capacity houses and has won outstanding acclaim - "a first-rate performance, full of humor, beautiful music and sharp theatricality." This production will be conducted by music director Alexander Ruggieri. The Los Angeles based Opera A La Carte is especially known for the true style of its productions for which it has received outstanding praise.
