THE WHITE HOUSE EXHIBIT - REPLICA WHITE HOUSE COMING TO WASHINGTON COUNTY
The White House in Miniature will be on display at Washington County Fair Park. The model, which is based on a 1-foot-to-1-inch scale, is 60 feet long and 20 feet wide. It features working televisions about 1 inch by 2 inches, chandeliers with light bulbs the size of rice grains and tiny portraits of President Bush and first lady Laura Bush. An America flag tops the roof, complete with a hidden fan that keeps the flag continuously flapping. Even the rugs and furniture are replicas of those in the White House.
