Professor Michael Leckrone created a monster. The UW Varsity Band's Annual Spring Concert. On that day, before an unexpectedly large audience of about 450 family, friends and fans in Mills Hall, the UW Band got everyone together to put on one final performance for the year and then ... have a party! But, no one would have guessed that the concert performed that night would turn into what it is today - a three-night extravaganza complete with professional staging, lighting, sound and pyrotechnics performed for 25,000 Badgers fans each year.
