Wade House Civil War School Day

As part of the Annual Civil War Weekend, this inaugural program is designed to provide memorable Civil War-era, hands-on encounters for the region's fifth graders. Students will be able to participate as "real" soldiers going through recruitment and enlistment, camp setup and drilling. They will be introduced to the sanitation commission and soldiers' aid, camp discipline, music of the Civil War era, and more.
