What really happened at Forts Folle Avoine from 1802-1805? Why did two competing fur trade companies build posts on the same site? Why did the traders suddenly disappear from Folle Avoine? Find the answers to these and many other questions as you experience life in the Yellow River Fur Posts of Folle Avoine. Participate in a "working fur post" atmosphere in and around the Northwest Company and XY Company posts, an active Ojibwe Indian Village, and a nearby re-enactors camp where additional skills of the period will be demonstrated.
