Sat-Radar Runs, Birch Island Resort on Wilson Flowage, Reg begins 9:30am, runs begin 11am, 1,000-foot track (snow side & ice side); Snowmobiles, ATVs, Lawn Mowers & Vintage Snowmobiles -all entries are eligible for cash prizes plus trophies; also additional activities at 1pm and live music from 3-7pm, followed by a snowmobile parade from Birch Island Resort, Bar & Grill to Lake Duroy with fireworks over the lake; 6pm - Candlelight Walk, Snowshoe or Ski (1-mile round trip) on Lake Duroy. Sunday - Ice Fishing Contest on the Phillips Chain of Lakes (Duroy, Elk, Long & Wilson), 6am-4pm. Pre-Register at the Phillips Area Chamber, Ross’s Sport Shop, Bader’s Store, Elk River Custom Rods or Harbor View. Registration on tournament day 6am at Harbor View. Entry fee is $10 for adults; cash prizes for largest walleye, northern & panfish will be awarded at at Harbor View at 5pm or as soon as scores are tallied. The Children’s Division entry fee is $5 and special prizes will be awarded. The Winter Fest raffle drawing will take place following the fishing tournament awards.
