Step One: Create a Trip
Once you login you can create a new trip or edit existing trips. Set your trip name, description, privacy and dates before you begin.
Step Two: Add Items
Add items from our Places to Stay, Things to Do, Dining and Events sections to your trip by clicking the Add to Trip icon throughout the site or from within the Trip Planner.
Step Three: Print and Share
Print details of your trip and share your trip with friends on your favorite social network or via email.
Candlelight Hike and Snowshoeing

Hiking and snowshoeing by candlelight, a roaring bonfire, and complimentary warm refreshments await couples, singles and families at the Friends of Horicon Marsh International Education Center's event. The Education Center will also be open for people to warm up, view the 20 minute "Horicon Marsh Story", visit the gift shop or have the kids do a fun craft to bring home! Astronomers will be on site to view the night sky or to talk about the stars if it is cloudy. Warm beverages and light snacks will be available inside the center. The Friends' volunteers and DNR staff will line the trails with candle-powdered luminaries to welcome and guide hikers and snowshoers. Volunteers will also be on hand for assistance and information. The lighted trail starts at Bachhuber Impoundment trailhead. Hiking and snowshoeing are free to the public and snowshoes will be available on a first come first serve basis at no charge.This event is free and open to the public.
