The John Michael Kohler Arts Center marks the 40th anniversary of its world-renowned Arts/Industry residency program with a sweeping, first-ever retrospective exhibition of works created by artists-in-residence in the Pottery, Foundry, and Enamel Shop of plumbingware manufacturer Kohler Co. More than 350 ceramic, cast iron, and brass works of art will be on view drawn primarily from the Arts Center’s and Kohler Co.’s permanent collections. Among the artists featured are Ann Agee, Christina Antemann, Clayton Bailey, Susan Beiner, Mary Jo Bole, Johan Creten, Phoebe Cummings, Michael Dinges, Jack Earl, Molly Hatch, Sergei Isupov, Beth Lipman, Richard Notkin, Denise Pelletier, Michael Sherrill, Tom Spleth, Alex Schweder, and Arnie Zimmerman. The exhibition is curated by the director of the Arts Center and founder of Arts/Industry, Ruth DeYoung Kohler.
